Sheikh-ul-Alam College of Education was established in 2002 and is affiliated with the University of Kashmir. Located near Chinar Road, Drugmulla, Kupwara, the college has been shaping teacher-educators in North Kashmir for over two decades.
Our name honours Sheikh-ul-Alam (Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani / Nund Rishi), the beloved saint-poet of Kashmir whose message of learning, compassion, and service continues to guide every teacher we train.
The college offers the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programmes, welcoming approximately 200 students across an 8-Kanal campus equipped with modern laboratories, a well-stocked library, and a 200-seat auditorium.
